A special feature of the Reyim community is our Rabbi’s deep engagement with our members and care for the spiritual, emotional and intellectual challenges we face.

Rabbi Berman offers pastoral, emotional and spiritual care during our member’s important life transitions, including:

• Births/arrivals of a new child or family member
• Illness and healing
• Hospitalization
• End of life
• Funeral, shiva, and periods of mourning
• Separation from children as they grow older
• Conflicts within families
• Emergence of mental health challenges
• Job loss and financial difficulties
• Caring for aging parents
• Coming out, gender transitions and name changes
