Libeynu K-5 Jewish Education Program
Libeynu (“Our Hearts”) is our Jewish after-school program for students in Grades K-5 on Tuesday afternoons throughout the school year from 3:30 to 5:45 p.m. at Reyim. The name of our school comes from the phrase “teyn b’libeynu,” a Hebrew prayer to place in our hearts the ability and desire to learn, listen and teach.
During the 2025-2026 school year, Libeynu is led by our Rabbinic Intern, Hebrew College rabbinical student Aviva Herr-Welber, together with Rabbi Berman. The school’s calendar is synched with both the Jewish and the Newton public school calendars.
Tuition
The cost for the Tuesday afternoon program is $800 per student for Reyim members, with a 10% sibling discount. There is also a $50 discount per student for families who register before May 31 of the prior school year.
Tuition scholarships are available for any families who need support.
